At WellCare International Inc., we are proud of our vertically integrated operations, combining our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in China with strategic partnerships across United States, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and India. This structure allows us to deliver both branded and customized private-label products that meet the highest benchmarks of quality, consistency, and reliability.
Our Story
WellCare was born from the vision of a father who had spent more than 30 years building and running factories in China. That vision was brought to life by the joint efforts of three siblings, committed to building a company that bridges global manufacturing with American market needs.
In 2016, after graduating from Stony Brook University with her master degree in Global Supply Chain Management, Michelle founded WellCare in New Jersey from scratch with the steadfast support of her father and siblings—embarking on her incredible journey of entrepreneurship, resilience, and growth.
In 2018, her brother Lenny with 10 years' corporation management experience joined WellCare after completing his MBA from NYIT, taking the lead in building WellCare’s warehousing and supply chain systems. In 2022, their sister Saly transitioned her focus from managing the family’s factories in China to enhancing WellCare’s global sourcing capability.
In 2023, with their cousin Perry's join in, WellCare opened a new 80,000 sq. ft. distribution center in California. This strategic expansion allowed WellCare to provide LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) and FTL (Full-Truckload) services to customers across the United States, improving delivery speed and flexibility.
In 2025, another cousin, Vera, became part of the team, taking on a key role in managing the California operations and helping optimize West Coast distribution.
